In Brugge?

Hi all, I'm thinking of taking the Tiv over to Brugge in Belgium for a long weekend in a month or two and was looking for any recommendations on hotels & parking if people had done the same, did you find a hotel that had decent parking or just park in the street, car park etc?
I'm not adverse to street/public parking but it unlikely the car will move for 3 days so don't want to have revisit it every day for parking fees etc.

i would suggest you to look for a hotel with parking and aviod street parking. It is not easy to find a space to start of with nevermind the safety of your P & J. I stayed a hotel with a basement parking. The hotel is not bad. the basement carpark is dry, but very tight and very quite difficult to move around. judging by the TVR turning circle, not sure if you can get out.

Its just outside the city wall and about 10 min walk into the centre, very easy to find and as you will see is used by several car clubs

I always stay at the Crowne Plaza in the old city center.
Nice hotel and food and great location.
It has underground parking which is a little bit of fun entering and leaving. (plenty revs )
Only problem is that someone keeps activating the car alarms on the Mercs etc.

Top recommendation on Tripadvisor too. Free WIFI and plenty of free parking around the square/area the hotel is in.

The Park Hotel is also convinent for the city centre, and does have it's own under ground car park round the back. There is also the central carpark which is quiet good for access with a TVR with reasonably wide parking bays cost is around 12 Euros per day.

My wife and I spent our 30th wedding anniversary at the Hotel Prinsenhof Bruges. No.1 on Trip Advisor.

Really nice hotel (and they are not normally our thing), you get very well looked after and it is lovely and peaceful but only 2 mins from main square but it's not for the slight of wallet. We ordered a double but they upgraded us to a suite! I did lay it on thick about our anniversary though.
They receommended and booked a good restaurant for us as well.

Parking is tight and they parked my BMW for me (as part of the service - not because I'm incompetent) but I guess they would let you do your own - it does cost to park though but that may be the same anywhere in the city.

Beware though - every time any of our family go to Bruges it absolutely p****s it down. you may be safe as we have no immediate plans to go.

Best Western Navarra Hotel.

Right in the City centre. Free secure parking.

Have used it a couple of times, and found it to be very nice indeed.

Stayed in the Best Western Hotel Acacia 10 years ago, and that had secure garaging and was only a 2 minute walk from the Markt (the main square) and the bar with 300 beers...

I drove my Sag in Brugge last year, it kept grounding out on all the cobbled streets. Something worth thinking about. Real PIA to find a car parkign spot on the street.

Never had a problem in 3 visits in my Tuscan Mk1.
