Presuming I become convinced that I can sort out the handling with Nitrons, smaller wheels - whatever... then I'm thinking an early Tuscan might be on the cards, at least until T350T's fall under £30k.

I've seen a few decent looking early Tuscans, but I'm very specific on colour combos, so I was wondering if I found a good car in the wrong colour, how much for a full respray? Or alternatively, the right car in the right colour with a not so right interior, how much for a retrim?

thanks all

Reasonably educated guess, 3-4k for either. Respray in a different colour is is very likely to push the car's value down, no matter how well done. My advice FWIW get a colour combo you can live with in the first place and spend the money saved on inproving the handling.

Hey girlracer - Am I mistaken, or did I recently see you bidding on a rather small Tuscan on the internet recently?

Sorry this sounds cryptic, but do not want to give the game away too much incase it is you!?

girlracer. Buy a Red Rose, then you will have the suspension sorted, the 18" wheels, the bigger brakes, and more BHP (Tuscan S); 182mph at brunters and still pulling.

I have driven both and you will notice the handling difference and the power difference on a RR. I should know I have a RR and I love it. Under heavy breaking the RR does not tramline. I drove a T350c the other day (I've have a Sagaris on order) the RR pulled better and the brakes on the T350C were appalling, I wondered if the car was going to stop...My RR just stops with NO NOSE DIVING.

You should be able to pick up a RR for about £27k. with fTVRsh. I have to sell mine soon so I will aim for this.

Good luck hunting...

Maybe I should just buy yours then. Can you email me some pics?

I think you're right Mesh re: the value diving, I had thought about that. I guess I just wanted to know the prices as a last resort.

OK - but there was someone called "Girlracer" bidding on a model Tuscan on ebay this week, thought it may have been you!

Just seen my first T350C for under 30K (see classifieds) so I wonder how long you will have to wait for the T's to follow.....
