I was just watching the ITN news and there was an item in which the talking head said that Winky was dismissing the 'coup' as silliness and that he stated if re-elected he would serve a full term.

No link yet I am afraid.

Now - those that have read my posts will guess that I don't champion any party and have had more than a harsh word to say about the incumbent - however I have to actually say I pity him.

That phrase "Serve a full (third) term if re-elected" is one of Anthony Charles Lynton Blair's most oft quoted lies and is used to demonstrate his lack of integrity.

So who is actually being so cruel as to now set Gordo up with that phrase?

I have laughed at the Guido threads regarding 'McMental', but I genuinely think his is a vulnerable adult and should be given the health care protection he needs rather than being abused by the cabal around him.
It's a bit like watching a car crash.

Not complying with Lord Fondlebums orders will cost winky dear. If for some ungodly reason labour were returned to power, I couldnt see winky lasting more than a couple of months before retiring due to "health reasons".

Given Mandelsons "secret" deal with B to join their board later this year, I think even the non winky people in the labour party have realised the jig is finaly up

"vulnerable adult"

Vulnerable adult! Have we really become such PC, namby pamby fools! The man is a power crazed tt of biblical proportions. He shouldn't be 'protected' by PCism, he should be unceremoniously shot for being the traitor he is.

I'd like to place it on record that I will also serve a full term if I'm elected. There's just as much chance of that happening as there is of Winky getting back in.

I hope.

If I'm elected PM I'll serve a year, make cucumbers illegal, make it law that all speed cameras are hand-held by operatives dressed as 2.5m tall orange gnomes, claim my expenses, retire to the Lords and live happily ever after.

You know it makes sense.

He genuinely believes he is the man for the job, he is totally delusional. He reminds me of the Muppets who apply to be on the X factor that passionately believe they are the next pop superstar even though they can't sing and look like a Jeremy Kyle guest.
The guy needs medical help quickly.

Well, hopefully that's sealed Labours fate as opposition for the next 20 years...

I watched for the first time The Hudsucker Proxy last night and I couldn't help but think that Winky is the Labour party's proxy.

And the shocking idea that came into my head was that they deliberately let Winky take charge of the country knowing it's borked. Watch as it all fails and let him take the blame for it all, then just before the next election when things are at their lowest bring back Blair to lead the Labour Party and regenerate the Labour morons into voting for them again and winning the election on the back of more broken promises and smiles.

I mean Michael Schumacher has come back to F1 and Blair isn't exactly doing anything now he's lost the Europrez vote and I don't think a Prime Minister has ever been, or could be charged with fraud or war crimes so it could be his way out of that little pickle as well.

All it would need is for Winky to dive out of a 44th floor (45 if you count the mezzanine) window.

Has Bliar taken up his seat in the HoL yet? If he has, then he cannot return as PM (this is what is stopping Mandlebum!)

It's possible to resign from the HOL and serve as an MP again, something that Alec Douglas-Home did, becoming PM in 1963................... amusingly given winky's Eton comments, Douglas-Home was the last Conservative PM to be sent to public / boarding school smile
