I've just been playing a few interesting games of Hardcore Team Deathmatch on Modern Warfare 2! 
The majority of games have started with some modified physics, in the form of low friction and low gravity ...
Players were running at fast speeds, sliding across terrain, bumping off walls and generally being able to reach higher areas on maps. You could cross the entire Estate map within 5 seconds!
Supposedly the IW servers have been hacked (XBox 360 - Jan 9th/10th). Has anyone else been playing under these modified settings?

Anyone know what has happened?Yep, same on Domination on Subbase - flying about all over the shop. I quit after about 10 seconds.
ETA - but to clarify, there are no servers. At least, not in the traditional sense (IW's are only used for lobbies). Games are hosted on an individual's XBox, so whoever was hosting is to blame, as they've hacked their copy.

s when it happens again I had one game of that earlier. Just left almost straight away. It isn't that fun. Not like 18 man rust free for all.
To see who the host is bring up the scoreboard and have a look at the connections. A lot of the time most people will be on 3 green bars. The host will always have 4 green bars. You can check at the very start of the game usually as the host connects first and everyone else is on a red dot.

that was insane! I just sat spinning round in circles with akimbo sub machine guns Theres just far too many cheating in this game its beginning to piss me off too,twice last night i entered a FFA game to get Nuked within 6 mins or less two blokes teamed up one killing the other [or protected his back] 25 times then calling the nuke bloody annoying then i also come across whats been talked about further up the thread i just turned off i think its time to go back to Forza 3 for a while!!!

So...you mean as soon as we are unfortunate enough to enter such a game, everytime we then host we will also be having the same stupid 'physics' applied? If this is the case, this takes the hack/glitch biscuit - and I have put up with them so far, but this will drive me nuts!Having said that...anyone online tonight?
