Videos / sounds clips of car engine / exhaust?
Discussion
Hello,
I'm searching for a sound recording of a car engine for a game I'm writing, based on Stunt Car Racer if anyone remembers it, although my version has up to 8-player AI or network play, much more advanced physics etc...
What I need ideally is an engine at a constant high rpm, and preferably recorded from near the exhausts as this seems to give a better sound for a racing game. I'm not bothered what sort of engine the recording comes from but something suited to a high-power nitro-boosted stunt racing car would be perfect!
The only thing I can offer in return is a free copy of the game if I ever finish it, but if anyone has a video or sound recording they would be willing for me to use it would be massively appreciated

If you have some sound chopping and looping software, find some dyno vids

good idle noises

Ideally you'll need a good slow pass, and you'd need to chop it into basic sections and loop them
