I was just commenting to my wife something along the lines of "see how Sky tend to jump in with two feet with speculation and dodgy sourcing while the BBC are often criticised for being behind the competition while waiting for verifiable reports."

Mercifully it sounds like this is an episode of something silly being said and all hell breaking loose. Who knows, it might even turn out to be less than that. I'm sure it won't stop Sky running with it for a few more hours, slowly spinning the story into one of what could have been and away from what actually had been. Keepin' it real.
