Can we have a renaultsport forum section?

What with the renaultsport Clio's beating some heavy metal on test tracks and the renaultsport megane being such a good track weapon, Can we have a Renaultsport forum in the other makes section?
All there is at the moment is French, and thats very broad!

IMHO renault isn't active enough to warrant it's own forum, currently the french bred section covers from last thursday to now on just the front page!

I take your point, but as a V6 clio owner the title renault seems a bit normal and doesn't always get the specialist viewer/reader, and most of us who have RS tend to go to specific forums.

I think you are missing out by not having a specialist forum, some of these cars such as the V6 and Spider are quite high in the super car ranks, and are, as said by the OP, quite significantly whooping arse in the motor world at the moment.

How about just starting a "Renaultsport" Thread and ask for it to be pinned in "French Bred", if there is enough traffic might pursuade the mods to start a section (tbh thinks Renaultsport.co.uk gets most of the RS trade although got a little bit samey imho hence coming to PH)

think chickenpox has a good idea though, I see no reason why there couldn't be a renaultsport specific thread within french bread. There isn't much traffic in there anyway so would probably always be near the top of the page

indeed hence the IMHO as it'll be garlick, pete or stuart who decides whether you'll get a new forum, I can't see it happening though as forums have only ever been created when there's enough threads to justify it, not created in the hop they'll get busy.

You're right to be honest, as spitting car forums into sub sections can simply create two quiet areas as opposed to one.

If the French Bred forum starts to groan under the weight of posts regarding one particular marque then we will add another sub forum. Until that point, we would rather keep it as it is as it does give us a busier 'French' section overall.

We'll keep an eye on it though, and if it needs a new forum then it will have one

Rather than 'voting' why not make better use of the current french bred section and demonstrate there's a genuine need for a renault section
