M4 Snow Clearing

Just returned from a run clearing the M4. Contracted by the local Highway boys due to running out of salt. Get the Chim up to temperature, lower the suspension, snow chains on, scoop up the snow and blow it out the back in steam. No probs with overheating!

well done that man!
On my trip back from Bristol this evening i saw 4 gritters out on the M4... but it seemed largely ineffectual

talking of snow, here on the isle of wight we`ve had our first proper snowfall for 30 years!
it normally snows for an hour or two, then dissapears as quick as it came, but we must have had 3" last night and a predicted 4" due for today, the local council were probably hoping it would dissapear overnight, hence the roads are slowly being cleared, so a day at home today in the warm!
