They're losers, I never got through on the phone after days of trying. Email took a day to be answered in pigeon english. I was cancelling my order as they were insisting I fax them copies of utility bills.

Try Camskill. Ordered one day, arrived next day, cheaper than mytyres.

Oh st. I wanted to use Camskill but they didn't sell the Nokian tyres I wanted.

Hope this isn't going to turn into another rotten supplier frown

I had no trouble via e-mail. The reply was obviously written by someone whose first language wasn't English but it all made sense. Tyres ordered 20th Dec, delivered 23rd Dec. No complaints.

I know they are a German company, doesn't bother me as I speak a little German anyway but it's the no contact that bothers me.

Will see how it goees . . . might turn out OK, they could just be struggling a bit with back orders.

Oddly enough it was Nokians I'd ordered off Mytyres, ended up with Vredesteins off Camskill.

I had no problem yesterday. Spoke to them twice to confirm tyres I need are in stock (not even available from Pirelli in the UK at the moment). Order process went fine.

All pretty painless and significantly cheaper than any UK price (not that they were in stock anywhere else!)

Absolutely useless. Cancelled an order and took 8 months (YES, 8 MONTHS) to get a refund.

Complete shower of s.

I've ordered several sets from delticom in the UK, France and the Netherlands and never had any problem whatsoever.

That said everything ran smoothly, quick delivery with no problems. Perhaps the 'crapness' shines through with this company when things start to go wrong?

I'll think twice about using or recommending them in future.

Never had a problem with their service and even when I got sent the wrong tyres (XL instead of non-XL rated P-Zero) they picked up the wrong ones at the same time they delivered the new ones.

Must have had about 40 tyres from them over the years. Don't use them anymore as my local indy is cheaper for the Contisport M3s I now use.

Just managed to get through to them, they wanted to confirm my billing and delivery addresses . . . ? Odd as these were on the order, I suspect they are trying to avoid fraud by speaking to the customer. Anyway, they say 2-4 days for delivery.

Avoid.

Had alot of trouble with them in the past with debt collectors and all sorts.

Bought a set of 4 tyres (about £200). Paid online, confirmed payment, money left my bank, tyres arrived a day or two later.

A month later I notice that £200 was credited to my account from Delticom. I tried to phone them to see what was going on but could never get through. Gave up in the end and left the money there. Another month past and a debt collection letter came through the post from a company based in Germany stating that Delticom never received the money for the tyres and they have been requested to collect the money.

Tried rining Delticom again with no success so called the debt company who wern't very helpful and just demanded I paid or they would send people round to collect goods to the value of the tyres etc. I explained that I had paid but had the money credited back etc.

I sent various emails to Mytyres and kept trying to Delticom but no reply from either. Finally spoke to someone after getting a number from the debt company and sorted the lot in a few minutes. Turned out some retard had refunded the money to my bank and because they hadn't received the tyres back, their refund people set the debt collectors on to me to get them...

All it would have taken was a phone call to myself to sort it out. Took 3 months from originally ordering to actually sorting it out.

Idiots. The lot of them.

Having said that though, I bought numerous sets off them previous to this and always found them to deliver quickly with good prices. False economy though as you still have to pay somewhere to fit them, which usually makes up the cost that you would have saved buying them at a garage in the first place.

Only if you can find a local fitter (in my case, usually sunny Hertfordshire) who (a) knows what winter tyres are and (b) is able to buy them and sell them to me for a sensible price.

Nobody round here apart from Stapleton's could supply and they only wanted to sell their own make, some Chinese made thing.

Arrived today . . . can't complain now. I'd use them again as the prices are very keen.

The Nokian tyres look very different to my Michelins . . . much wider gaps between the tread blocks, small sipes in every tread block and the rubber feels softer and more pliable.

Will report back if we get any more snow.

Nearly 4 years since the last post...:roll eyes:

Just wanted to say I have complained to Trading Standards about this company for potential breach of UK laws. Wished I did a search on PH before using themfurious
