Kitchen Floor - linoleum recommendations please
Discussion
Dear All,
I'm in the market for a replacement kitchen floor to be laid over existing tiles with some making good i.e. the floor will be very level.
Mrs Noise is specifying a high quality "faux" tile linoleum - warmer and easier to clean. Can anyone suggest for what I should be looking and from whom I might purchase please? I'm 'twixt Bristol and Bath,
regards,
Jet
ETA please, politeness is free

I wouldn't choose vinyl flooring (lino disappeared years ago) from a website - you can't judge the feel and the colours are probably wrong. But you're right, there's no shortage of choice and IMHO far more friendly than tiles.
Lino is still around:http://www.marmoleum.co.uk/Default.aspx?MenuId=16
Blimey. Something to do with linolenic acid I believe... back in the 50's my parent's house had acres of the brown stuff with hessian backing. Thought vinyl had replaced it, evidently not!
Presumably 'marmoleum' is an ester of linolenic acid and Marmite!
