Forza3 on XBOX - Problem connecting to a lobby??

Yesterday when me and 4 mates were trying to have a private race, one of us couldn't get connected to the lobby, with the message:
'Player Unreachable

Due to network problems unable to connect to the other players system at this time'

No one else had a problem, and he was connected on XBOX Live ok because we were talking in a party. Any ideas what could have been the problem?

Possibly to do with their NAT being strict or moderate instead of open.

Give the router a reboot, stick the xbox in a DMZ or port forward.

Not sure exactly what that is, but I will/my mate will have a look and see what his are set at. Thanks.
