Anyone doing a 365 this year then?

I've decided to give it a crack for 2010 and see if I've got the dedication to keep it up until December 31st

Not quite that mad - but in a spirit of actually taking some more pictures this year I've opted to do one a day for January.

I did think about this last year and vowed to myself that I would start it this year but since completing on a wreck of a house just before xmas and other life changing events that have followed I have not really picked my camera up. I am still thinking of a 52 but that looks like it will be put on the back burner. saying that, my mate has just brought a renault clio 200 so I may set myself the target of getting that shot this week and hope that inspires me to keep it up.

Good luck to anyone that goes for the 365 tho.

I do like the idea of those ugly dolls - just like when Mr Ted was in my possession - it just seems to brighten up an otherwise fairly boring scene.

I have a rubbish little Nikon Coolpix L3 but hopefully this will persuade me to learn how to use it properly and bravely fiddle with the settings more often XD

I'd love to hear this explained in a logical manner...365 is still 365 no matter which day you start on as long as you end on the proceeding day the following year...1st Jan to 31st Dec (or) 14th Sept to 13th Sept...

Yep, got myself a wee Ixus for this reason (amongst others). Will still use the 1D occasionally of course, but having something in the pocket helps enormously.

I thought the 365 we were referring to was traditionally 365 pictures taken from 1st January - hence my comments

Guess I wasn't alone in having this idea then

I thought it might be nice to start sharing with the world, some of the things I get to see on a daily basis doing my job flying aeroplanes around Indonesia. I was going to setup a blog but concluded I'm not too good at writing lots of waffle, so opted for a flickr account instead.

I hope to upload a photo a day (internet connection permitting) although not necessarily taken that day, as I don't fly every day and there's not always something interesting to take a snap off.

It all went wrong when we moved house unfortunately, I just didn't get round to doing it. I have days 330-ish to 365, but there's a nasty gap
