Just wondering if any knows of, or has been on any good wine tasting courses in Birmingham? Found a couple online, one for the Birmingham Wine School, and the other from Wine Unearthed. Me and a few mates have found that as we get older we are starting to get into drink for it's taste, rather than to get drunk! I haven't had a lager for ages, strictly Ales now, and in the last few months have been enjoying a bit of Whisky, but Wine is something I would really like to know more about.

I did the WSET Intermediate wine certificate - it's worth doing, and teaches you how to taste, and all about the wine process, climate, growing etc - very interesting, however there is an exam at the end...

I did mine through Bibendum in London, I'm sure it will be on at one of the Birmingham places, it's a well known training board.

Have fun!
