Anyone here ownd a Zo6, and C5 coupe?
Discussion
All I know is that the Z06 gets rave reviews from the Press and the C5 doesn't. The C5 is a 13 second quarter car, the Z06 is a 12 second quarter car. I think the later C5's got the Z06 brakes anyway but basically the Z06 is more rigid and lighter with thinner glass, lighter alloys, less unsprung weight.
Practicality speaks for itself. No T-tops and only a boot on the Z06. I'd buy a Z06 but would miss the roof off cruising.

The C5 Coupe is more of a GT with taller gearing, lower drag, better economy, larger and more accessible luggage volume, the options of multi-adjustable seats and automatic gearbox. The shape is more attractive too.
The Z06 is more focussed as a sports car with more power, lower gearing, less weight, rortier exhaust, more rigid body, less noise insulation, wider wheels, grippier non-runcrap tyres etc.
Depends what driving you intend to do in it as to which is more suited to you. If there was the option of the LS6 engine in the coupe I'd bet there'd be plenty of takers !
