...it could be a hire car. The guy I'm working with this week got lumbered with one. The only possible good thing about it is that it has a 2.2 litre engine that lets you make at least decent progress.

The gearing is all to cock though - 1st goes up to about 20 if you're lucky, second all the way up to 60.
