Your Favourite Five Shots From 2009
Discussion

Because i crashed on the way to take it, put the car in a ditch and still managed to get there. Has to be seen in original: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jon-/3727643000/sizes...

Because it's straight out of camera

Some great work so far
I'm liking Muska's blue Golf, Jon's cat, Rasputin's leopard and Matt's Radical shots

I've removed the Lingerie tags from the posts, we'll see if that changes anything. My personal fav 5 shots from what I've taken in 2009 (in no particular order):-
Fairy Glen (Isle of Skye)

KBC Bank (HDR from 8 seperate long exposures @ night) (Leuven, Belgium)

Welcome to Paradise (Isle of Vatersay)

Border Collie (Traigh Leathann Beach, North Uist)

Good Night, Sleep Tight (Marburg, Germany)

All clickable to reach 1280px bigified versions on longest side...

i'm sure mine will be pretty poor in comparison to most on here, only picked up the camera in August and all shots are taken with the basic lens and no tripod etc (not that im making excuses!)
My 5 favorite not best are as follows:
A dark and eery close on Edinburgh's Royal Mile

The Forth Road Bridge in South Queensferry

Edinburgh Castle, HDR

Nightmare before Christmas, at Halloween

My Clio on a drive out

All can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/wozaoconnell
C&C welcome as always!

Cool idea Nick, and lovely shots all!
In no particular order:
This was a bit of a fluke, and was the only shot I took of the hoverfly that day. Hand held, manually focused

Jon won't like this one
Candid shot taken at London's south bank.

Like this as the challenge I set myself that day was to shoot at 1/50th sec hand held. Going to try and get slower next time.

Love this shot, because he is my son. When I think back to the years of effort to have a child, this makes it all worthwhile

Jon, it's ok, this is my nephew on the right with his mate at the zoo
