New Bathroom Cost

Hi Guys,

I want to have my bath room replace, it's not huge, in fact I think that the dimentions are 9 feet by 7 feet. I would like the old bath suite removed and a new one put in place. I would like the floor and walls tiled also.

PS I would love to do it myself, but time and also the plumbing issues of the loo might be too much for me.

How long is a piece of string? you can pay anything upwards of £300for a suite and after that the sky is the limit. If it is a straight swap ( no extra major plumbing, showers, toilet moved etc etc ) probably about £400 labour.I'd allow £25.00 per metre for labour for tiling in your neck of the woods

It's the labour cost that I'm after, just removal of old units and installing of new. Also tiling and plumbing in new bathroom.

It should be pretty simple stuff, it's a late 60's town house.

£1200 labour only

Ours cost £1500 with supplied new ceiling and small parts (few runs of pipes, connections, grout & adhesive), installation of UFH. Took 9 days all in.

our's was 1,800 labour, that was removing old suite, all walls and floor tiled and new suite in.

Last bathroom I supplied and fitted was 4K, that included everything bar the tiles and included a digital shower.

I've paid for a couple recently, £1400 and £2000 respectively, both had their challenges, especially the more expensive one, which would have been closer to £1600 but for some unforeseen issues. Those prices are labour + sundries only - I supplied the bathroom suites and tiles, but all adhesive, grout, plumbing and odds and sods were included in those prices.
