A bingo caller has been advised to stop using phrases such as "two fat ladies" for fear of offending his audience.
John Sayers, who runs charity games in Sudbury, Suffolk, says he was told by a council clerk the traditional bingo call could upset some players.
Mr Sayers said no-one had complained before, but now players moaned his new numbers-only style was boring.
A town council spokeswoman said it was "sad" they had to give the advice but they had to be "politically correct".

Are you telling us it didn't happen?Nearly all these stories turn out to be over egged by the "wind up" tabloids.
Virtually none of these "PC gone mad" stories ever turn out to quite what the papers are intimating and the topics selected rarely have any impingement on our daily lives - apart from raising the ire of those who are susceptible to having their ire raised.
Sometimes (heaven forfend), the story turns out to be a cunning ploy by some marketing organisation to create a quick and popular headline.
On very rare occasions they turn out to be EXACTLY as reported.
They are out to manipulate your mind - you know.
