Yeah, I got that part, but this means hes James Bond AND a TimeLord, and must therefore be the best, most awesome man ever? hehe

With the exception of what the cactus people looked like, that was a great episode. The scene in the cafe between the Doctor and Wilf, with Donna outside, was brilliant smile .

That was a rather funny reference to Nazi Germany.

I'm going to miss next weeks as I'm off to the ski slopes! Doh!

Gonna be a interesting one for sure, got to explain how they came back and they've got a planet full of masters to deal with and what an excellent final scene and all!

reference to the Nazis? Missed that one.

On the subject of ol' Tim Dalton - didn't half spit a lot!!

Do agree, one of the better xmas ones (so far)

Nazis - a reference to the Master race near the end of the episode.

There was a lot of spit, no doubt a theatrical device to indicate evilness, or something like that

I noticed the spit and wondered what that was about...as it was obviously put in for effect.

Since when were the Time Lords evil?

That was 'hinted' at in Dr Who Confidential.

Must be one of the few people who didn't think it was that special.

Voyage of the Damned was much better imo.

That was 90% hoop and...in fact 95% hoop, self reverential, muddled, no focus to the episode and a lot of pointless overacting, very typical of a overblown Russell Davies episode. Far too many plot points raised and then tossed away with little or no explanation.

I was massively disappointed and then saw the trailer for part 2. Now perhaps it was deliberate to have a poor episode to lower expectations for the last one but I doubt it.

Please don't screw up the last one, will obviously involve yet another miraculous reset to save the human race but it it Doctor Who and it can't be as dark as we'd like it to be.

The Timelords have rarely been "with" the Doctor. Don't forget that He "stole" his TARDIS and usually avoids contact with them unless he is desperate. I don't think they are necessarily "evil" although many of them seem to "lose their marbles" due to the amount of power they have. Don't also forget they have a "No interference" policy that pre-dates the "Prime Directive". Not that that ever stopped the Doctor or the various Captains of the Enterprise!!

I'm looking forward to the new Doctor and writers, as these recent ones have been a bit tedious.
