S2 C service...happy boy.

My S2 feels fab after a C sercvice, new starter motor, plugs and alternator belt. It was starting intermittently, and now hearing it thrum up 1st time like that makes me realise how doggy it was!
New braded brake hoses. feels good, though only driven 20 miles on wet ice today to get it home.
Alarm working after a new sensor fitted.
Gear shifter kit fitted. What a nice snickety feel now! It was awful before, and only now I relaise it.
The fan was fixed-I have warm air for the first time in 18 months ownership!! The cabin was even a bit stuffy by the time I was home today. Invoice just mentions a heater resistor, so this was done with no clam removal which was ace. (Could I have done that job out of interest?)
New rear spring platforms as old ones were coroding.
If the radio worked, well it would be almost like new
A big thanks to Paul Matty's Bromsgrove for a great job at a good price too.
Oh. I nearly defected to A beautiful Noble they have in the showroom. A few things put me off:
Too wide to slip into my modest garage I reckon.
Absolutely no baggage space.
Would need about £10k in p/x.
Though I was quoted about £1k more than I paid for my S2 18 months ago - so that's heartening
Anyone here driven a Noble...I could always saw my garage frame away a little?

Having owned GTR and M400 Nobles, I admit in performance they
outway the Exige. But not in handling. Also beware of the
pernikety upkeep of those ie., 3 plates to u/side as per the Exige,
but the plate to get under the Noble mechanicals has 200 setscrews
to dislodge and replace. Which takes either a lot of time or a lot
of mechanics' feluce to manipulate.
Compared to the 8 hex-headed screws on the similar Exige plate.
Noble parts are frightenly expensive re. back in time the forum furore
on wheel costs (from Aus.) then at over £800 each sans tyres -
& they are not false split rims, they are different wheels on the P,Matty
machine and I believe a smaller V6 (?) to the GTR and M400 etc., I had
many irritating problems with Nobles.
Frankly I prefer the Exige in many respects - the big downside to
both being availablity of choice for tyres. I use/have used both
for 600 mile non-stop continental journeys (& a CSR 260). Also I see
the Exige as infinitely more asthetically pleasing - it is to me, a
real beauty.
