I have been looking at a house with a view to buying but it seems that a previous owner claims she was so disturbed by the spooky voices and events that she moved out, and even the local nutters fromm the paranormal screaming club are unhappy about going in.

Would it put you off, and more importantly if I make it clear to the agent that I know, is it worth a lower offer?

Yeah why not?!

Offer them less money.
Worse thing they can do is say no!
If they do so, you end up paying the asking price, if they say yes, you have money off to spend on coke & hookers!

The radio kept switching itself on at 7am, and if you left a hot cup of tea for a while, when you came back, it was stone cold!

Yes because I am not 12 and I don't believe in ghosts.

Edit: Also I thought that with haunted houses all you had to do is stay one night and it's yours.

your conveyancing solicitor would have a field day about the whole 'sitting tennants' issue, and your mortgage lender may ask that the 'prescence' signs some form of indemnity

Its not like im going to buy it, just would be interested in having a look at the advert.

Yes it would be worth a lower offer just to see what they say since the seller is desperate

Blood seeping from the top corners of rooms is a common problem in haunted houses.
A good exorcist should be able to give you a quote on how much it will cost you to sort out.
Watch out for cowboys though.
