Anyone got Mario Cart for the Wii and are on-line with it, fancy a race?

Silverbullet you've got one of these, got any games to recommend? (apart from mario cart).

I'm going to buy mariocart & the wheel tomorrow as I only got the Wii today. Got all of them now, gaming PC, PS3, Xbox360 & Wii.

My gamertag as always is MK4Slowride

It's just Slowride now as the MK4 bit makes it too long FFS.

I've just bought Super Mario Bros for the Wii for my sister.

The reviews it has got so far are encouraging and the multiplayer mode looks fun!

I have bought a Wii for the fiancee for christmas with Mariokart. It is a surprise present so we'll see how it goes on christmas day! I should be online with it over Christmas at some point so if anyone is around i'll join in on a race.

Ok, this is doing my head in now. My Wii number has 16 digits yet the wiki link everyone has 12 and you can't just ask for a friend request by using their gamertag. Why make it so intricate?

You want the 12 digit number from the top of your 'Slowride' Licence within Mario Kart and not the Wii number

I just bought the mariocart at half price at WHSmiths.
They are on the shelf at full price but scan at 50% off. £17!!!!

Hmm, a wii, you'll want homebrew then, and download 'backups' of all your games. 95% of all wii games are not worth more than.......free anyway.

As for mario kart online, it's probably not worth the effort, you cant even talk to each other anyway. Useless online. And lagtastic.

Download backups? FFS that's very primitive. I might get Mario world & a fit board and leave it at that then. Also I'd let my driving do the talking

After playing MarioKart over Christmas I've re-bought the game and am playing again. It is a bit easy, and online mode is once again populated with little kids playing with wheels who are just sooo easy to beat. Still satisfying to hit them with a green shell from miles away though...


..sad thing is I've bought myself one of the new black Wiis to play it on. No reason other than it's black. My old white one works fine, but I wanted the black one ever since I saw the Nintendo Revolution concept.

strange- absolutely zero lag here and battle mode is much more fun with loads and loads of players.
