Are There Any Decent 50"+TV's For Under £1,000?
Discussion
Cheers gbbird - but I was kinda trawling for the latest news/opinion - perhaps somebody has heard of a very good TV that has only just dropped below the £1k mark etc.
The PH search isn't working (it currently uses the google search facility) so its not that great when you search for (say) "50 inch TV".

By all accounts one of (if not the) best at this price range is the Panasonic VIERA TXP50G10B
I think the V10 version is even better but i'm not sure on the price for that one.

I have this one. It's great, I love it. Although you definitely notice poor quality on SD sometimes, however that is probably because I sit like a child about 5 feet away from it.

The V10 seems to retail at about £1,300 on average which puts it out of my requirements at the moment.
