What Steering wheel for PS3??

Hey guys,

after a steering wheel, I've read all good things about the Logitech G25 (£119 best price). But was wondering what one do you use, and is it any good?? as you cant get a quick time on GT5 Trials with a pad..

I bought one of these after using one at a hotel by the Nurburgring and thought it was great (having only ever used a pad before hand)

Play.com have a bit of a bargain on it at the moment as well!

The force feedback is great you can really feel it when cornering and under braking etc

Would highly reccommend for the price!

If you don't sit at a table but slouch on a beanbag are these wheels any good?

Just trying to work out how you'd get the base of the steering column and pedals locked in place?

No, you need a table or stand or gamingseat(or something along those lines) to be able to keep the wheel, pedals and gearshift sturdy

I found those mentioned in threads on here so I got one and it is very good indeed.

^^G25 in its own room with Playseat 5ft from a 50" plasma

Ive mounted it on some MDF, flipped the pedal board by mounting the pedals upside down. [The pedals are actually further apart now, dont have a newer photo tho]

Its alot more stable than the playseat alone.

ahh thats my home made arcade PC (Hotrod joystick and sidewinder steering wheel with PC inside an old TV and a surround sound base system) feel like im twelve again!

Its got mame (multiple arcade machine emulator) and pretty much all the roms
'Chase HQ' pole position R-Type Defender etc etc etc etc
I bunked off school to play Double Dragon and Matt Mania as a kid

with all the virtual money in the world I still cant complete R-Type
