PS3 recommendations

So I finally added a PS3 to sit alongside the 360.

It seems that the vast majority of must-play titles so far have been on both platforms.

Recommendations for things to get that are PS3 exclusives so far have been

Uncharted 1&2
Infamous
The Ratchet & Clank series

But does anyone want to suggest their best PSN downloadable games to start with? I spent a *ton* of time with Castle Crashers and Shadow Complex from Xbox Live.

Killzone 2 is a PS3 exclusive and is an excellent game if you like first person shooters and online play.

Gran Turismo 5 prologue is also quite good, but if you already have Forza 3 for your 360 you may not be quite so impressed with GT5.

Another vote for Killzone 2.

I didn't play the original Uncharted right through but loved the 2nd one so I don't think you'll miss a huge amount if you jump in with the 2nd one.

Little big planet is a must have at the price you can get it theese days. Demon Souls is a brilliant, but rock hard RPG. Very rewarding though.

Keep a look out in the new year for a game called Modnation Racers. After the Beta dare I say "Better than Mario kart"

Not too sure on PSN games, had a lot of fun with super stardust hd when I 1st had the PS3.

for a cheap game to take turns - i found gripshift fun, kind of like micro machines meets lemmings

only a couple of quid on the PSN download

As far as PSN goes - Wipeout HD is worth a shot. Rather fun!

My vote would be for Assassin's Creed II, which I think is only out for the PS3 atm. Could be wrong though. You'll want to play the first one first though, although it's not a must.

Also, if you've not got Burnout Paradise city I'd highly recommend it, and the online play with PSN is, of course, free.

ETA: OK scratch that, it's out on the eggbox. I didn't think it was. Sorry.
