Just after some advice regarding what the best camera phone is at the moment. Took my bike out in the snow today, and would have loved to have taken some decent photos, but didn't want to take my 20D as it is a bit bulky to be lugging around on a bike, plus the fact that I most probably would have managed to have fallen off and broken it.

Thought about a cheap compact, but then that's another thing to be carrying around, so have settled on the compromise of a camera phone.

I am thinking of either the Samsung Tocco Ultra, or the LG Viewty Smart, the new 12mp phones are more than I want to pay on a contract at the moment. I'm not too bothered about how well it works as a phone, to be honest, as I don't use my mobile very much.

How much control over the picture taking do you get with these, especially regarding exposure?

I'm a bit of a Sony Ericsson addict and have had K800 (3.2mp), K850 (5mp) and now the W995 (8mp). All take a reasonable picture in daylight but the K series also feature a proper flash for night / indoor shots. Of the ones I've used the K850 probably produces the best images, shame it's got one or two problems - the touch screen buttons are useless for example.

To be honest I wouldn't really want to use any of these to capture a special image that I wanted to keep and none of them have any control over exposure, DoF or anything else! (Actually the W995 does have a very basic ev +/- adjustment but that's it).
