Nothing terminal but the S2 has shown a distinct dislike to this cold snap just as the S1 did last year.

She's very reluctant to start in the mornings, giving me a cheeky battery light before firing up and the revs often dwindle below 1000k.

It's not a problem really, seen it all before!, just wondering if anyone else is suffering similar symptoms!

Battery conditioner is your friend. My battery is the original one and I generally keep it on in the garage when Im not using the car as much.
There's loads out there to choose from. I got a Ctek 3600 and its been fine.

Mine has felt a little sluggish to start in the mornings, but once it's running it's fine. I think I'll need a new battery before next winter (I am still on the original, so it hasn't done too badly).

Thats just it! The car just feels "grumpy" for the first few miles but then fine.

Although this morning she had a flat battery so a new one is on its way and we'll see if that helps.

I think the comments about battery are valid Chris. Does yours live outside as well? Perhaps if you get some of that spray you can put on the plugs (which I think seals them from moisture) might help also.

Count yourself lucky you don't own a Sport 160. They don't like the cold. Oh no.

Dare I say it, but the Honda was fine. Started first time everytime and loved the crisp, cold air.

That's not bad going, mine needed a fire-up every ten days last winter and finally gave up the ghost last week.
