I'm not au fait generally with the breed, but I suspect it was a C5.

Dirty great big red beastie, looks good on the road!

I didn't get a look at the number plate as I was too busy negotiating traffic.

Anybody here? There can't be too many around in the UK can there?

Far more than you might think. They hold the Corvette Nationals at Knebworth every year and they can easily fill that venue - and that's not all of them by a long chalk.
