Forza 3.....my views

Well my brother inlaw to be brought over his 360 on Saturday night for some gaming.
I promptly downloaded the Forza 3 demo (he isnt into cars so hasnt got the full game).
I wasnt really expecting much to be honest, used to have a 360 myself and found Forza 2 to be quite a let down.
However Forza 3 was/is rather fun! The driving seems to have more feel in it compared to the last one plus the way the damage effects your car is better.
The only things that let it down in my view was that the external damage is still pretty much bumpers and stuff (ie no structual damage after a head on at 150mph). Plus I though the details on the car and the interior could have been better.
However it has made me hunt ebay for a cheap 360 elite

Probably in the respect that you can feel the level of grip even more and the steering has more weight to it. The FFB has been reworked and with some cars you can really feel the road your driving on.
I suppose you need a steering wheel to get any of that as I haven't noticed it with the controller. I always think about getting a steering wheel but the last one I had the novelty wore off after a few months and then I didn't use it for years. t at them both I haven't played forza 2 for half a year though so maybe thats why. But when i play 3 it does seem the same. Except for the manual gear change with clutch, that makes the game a lot more fun!
I find it a lot more engaging than forza 2. Not really sure why... it's prettier I guess and I seem to have found a level where I really have to work hard to win which is what I much prefer over beating the xbox cars by miles. I never really found that level with 2.
