I was wondering if there is a rule/law that prevents parties bussing their supporters to polling stations?

Never seen or heard of any, that's all.

Nope, Various parties have done it for years (before postal voting) to get pensioners to the polling booths etc, dont recall any using an actual "bus" though smile

Usually activists cars smile

(unless the rules changed recently)
Good good.

I was aware of the use of the cars.....I was roped into such a job as a youngster by my mother. And driving around with a tannoy sticking out of the sunroof. And dropping leaflets etc. They live in one of the safest seats around so I never really saw the point either.

I've just never seen a bus or coach. Seems a good idea to me. I wonder if you can give everyone onboard "presents"?

I think there should be a law against using buses to take supporters to the polling booth. After all, no self-respecting Tory voter would be seen dead on a bus, so it hands yet another unfair advantage to the Labour party.
