Racism - This is an Example Why it Persists

These are members of the U.S. House of Representatives. They should represent their voters but in a proper manner; however, if a group of Congressmen/women formed a "White Caucus"....well, you can see what I mean. I am against racism, but that means ALL racism. All or nothing, it's the only way!

Agreed with all said. The talk of using the leftover TARP funds to start government job programs, etc is discouraging. Was no lessons learned from the horrible 70s under the Carter administration when we "Government programmed" ourselves into the ground? Stimulate small business and people will be hired, goods will be bought, etc, etc....Capitalism 101. Also, people who claim to want employment need to understand that they will be expected to work, not just receive a paycheck....oh, and this new generation notion of not wanting to start at the bottom has to go as well IMO.
One more thing, it will be all the better when the "Black Leaders" are found out by the black community for what they are, merchants of misery who want to perpetuate discontent and hold onto their followers....so they will not have to get a real job themselves.

I actually think it is perfectly sensible to discriminate based on physical traits. Things like employing a four ft tall prison officer who can't see through the viewing panels in the doors seems a little silly.

Oh absolutely; they are countless. We have a "Black Miss America" Pageant, yet several black women have won the general all inclusive pageant a few times. What is the point?

It was; however, the favortism to assist the minorities has gone on for a generation and is being abused and only perptuating racial tensions. Hispanic and Asian minorities don't have noticeable political groups yet have the same favored program status. They take advantage of the benefits and move ahead as designed. The African American groups seem to want to make careers out of it.
