Cleaning garden decking - products?
Discussion
Hi,
My 1 year old garden decking is looking a bit worse for wear following the recent wet weather. When it was laid, it had 2 coats of cuprinol. I've tried using a pressure washer but anything other than full pressure doesn't touch the mould. Full pressure exposes the fibres - so I scrapped that idea.
Any suggestion for a decent cleaner that won't damage any plants or grass - run off is on to lawn.
Cheers.

I found prep-deck to be pretty good.. http://decksupply.co.uk/Owatrol_Prepdeck_Stripper_...
My challenge (see other post) is then keeping the deck looking good after I've used this...

Thanks both, I want something that will remove the fungicide/mould without damaging the treatment its already had.
Fungicide may well do it, I'll have a chat with the bloke in the local paint supplies place.
Trickster - sounds like you need to repeat previous treatment then seal it with something - pretty sure Cuprinol do a clear decking treatment.

I've got a Karcher pressure washer with a deck cleaning attachment and an intake tube for deck cleaning stuff. Works really well
