I need to buy a +4 diopter lens with a 77mm diameter.

There's a web site called hoya-online.co.uk that sells Hoya ones for £49.49 (as opposed to Jessops who sell them for £60)

Anyone know if these people are reliable (they're an off-shoot of Wokingham Photographic) or if there is somewhere else that you think would be better?

Or better still, has anyone got one they can lend me for 16 days in January? wink

Ta in advance!

How good a quality do you need? There are tons on eBay for about £20.

I was going to suggest a macro lens... but you have a most fine Nikkor one confused

It's not for underwater use because no lens with a 77mm thread would fit in the housing... confused

OK, I give up - wot you up to?

It's for the 12-24 Nikon lens, Simpo. It's not focusing correctly in the dome port, and I've been told I need a +4 diopter to get it to do so.

Did it before with my old housing and a 20mm lens, so I know it will work!
