Exhaust Options

Going to need to order an exhaust system for my Can Am soon. What other options are there other than factory?

sorry Spatz i was asking Spid if his engine had arrived from Madge.

Mark is talking about the headers ive had made for my car Stig, they are not going to be to everyone taste as they are 2" primaries but i like them and they will flow well for our supercharged cars.

If anyone know of a muffler that can be fitted in the middle section of the car (have a dry sump tank where the factory mufflers rest) that actually works let me know. The muffler that I have from Spin Tech is not very effective.

For those of us that are only just starting our build can you give a little more information on the engine supplier you are referring to here so that we can avoid your problems.

Could you PM me if this would break forum rules on naming and shaming.

Its someone called Tim Madge TRMV8......apparently having drawn deposits/full payments from several on here and subsequently not supplying their goods! A very lousy, unresolved situation for all involved.



Fred....I'm aware that Kyle was with his exhaust manufacturer this week and is there next week too...pushing very hard for a great product for everyone!

good idea kyle, exhaust system in stainless to fit ls engine with cats is a definetely necessity. Headers are actually the tricky part, the rest is not too difficult be sure to use these 3 inch flanges.

thanks for that Fred but they look much better now!! We are using 4 repackable silencers and we have used various different size secondaries and have finally decided on 4 tail pipes at a smaller bore to help with noise levels.
