I don't agree with Blair's stated reasons for going to war in Afghanistan or Iraq, but even so, do you really honestly think that you couldn't find similar stories from any country on the face of the planet with more than about 25 residents? Every single place on earth gets this st or stuff like it.

I just get really pissed off with people taking every possible opportunity to use this sort of crap to try and put our country down. If you're not happy living here, then sod off and live somewhere else instead.

Seeing as I am only 23, was there no crime before Labour got in to power? I understand people blaming them for most things but for thugs?

I'm pretty sure there have always been gangs/violence and don't think any country is without these problems.

I hate seeing scum getting let off with a massaged wrist (because heaven forbid we actually slap them!) as much as the next man, but it's difficult to get round the fact that despite the Americans' much greater propensity for slinging scum in prison, they still have a murder rate of nearly 6 people per 100,000 as opposed to a figure in England & Wales of something like 1.5 per 100,000.
