Joo is back working his magic.

Just for those of you that don't know, Joo is back tuneing TVRs again. He has teamed up with Raceproved in Sheffield. I called in today and the rolling road is up and running and with Joo back working his magic on the rollers this has to be good news and along with all the other services Raceproved and other TVR specialist offer in and around Sheffield it doesn't get much better than this.

I had a freebie birthday treat from Raceproved (russ and joolz) last Friday. My car was one of the first TVRs on the rollers. Joolz did me a power run. 411 bhp. Thanks Raceproved.
In terms of details - afaik (this is my view and not a Joolz or Raceproved announcement!)..... Joolz has enjoyed much success with his business over the last few years. For various reasons the market for tuning cerbs has shrunk (less cerbs, less money around, more TVR servicers out there etc). So it was time for Joolz to move on. He is now working with Raceproved - they have bought his rollers and are contracting his services. I think this model is going to work well for Joolz, Raceproved and of course the TVR community. I am sure we will see lots of exciting stuff in Sheffield!

totally agree, the tvr community would be losing out one one of the top tuning experts if Joo wasn`t around, a very good move by Raceproved to secure his services, and very good news for the like of us as well!!cirvy said:

Sorry Simon, yes Joo is based at Raceproved. I have had quite a few bits and bobs done, that's where it became a little adictive and I got carried away with the amount of bits and bobs I wanted doing and everyone sorted with no problem.
All done with a very friendly service and atention to detail, car wash and covered before collection and all at a very good price. Oh and it's only 4 miles from my house which is one hell of a bonus.

So, the news has broken on our "Mystery Man" !!
This can only be great news for the TVR community (particulary those of us fortunate enough to live "oop North"

I've had work done on my Cerb by both Joo and RaceProved, and to have their complimenary skills together under one roof (well, technically two as it's the building next door) just means that RaceProved is rapidly becoming the "one stop shop" for TVR work done in this area.
In response to a previous post, "what do RaceProved do" - well for my car they have completed servicing (to an impecably high standard), repaired / replaced a Spider alloy, fitted a new clutch and lightweight RaceProved flywheel, fitted new wiper motor, sorted out uneven airflow and lumpy low speed running, and numerous other bits (e.g. new battery, etc).
I have been more than happy with the service provided by RaceProved, and would unreservedly recomend them.

Now that Joo has joined the RaceProved team, we now have one the countries Cerb and tuning experts joining forces - for my car Joo sorted loads of niggles and issues when I first bought the car, including new shocks (ProTech), new CATS, tuning on rolling road, new ECU map, new oil breather catch tank (one-off job - very neat), new HiD lights etc etc
As far as I'm concerned, I've now got one of the countries leading TVR specialist within 15 mins drive
