Planning on making these tomorrow night: http://www.mydish.co.uk/recipe/6026/Chicken%20Chim...

Anyone know why she says to add the peppers before the onions? Obviously it's a sharing website so it's everyones' own personal recipes, but I've always cooked onions first and added peppers shortly after, as I'm under the impression the onions take longest to soften. All recipes I've read before have said the same, or add both together. I should probably just follow the recipe and it will be alright, I'm more curious than anything!

I wouldn't get too worried about it. Do what you think, and from your experience will taste good.

I am surprised that you are following this recipe so closely though. Given the fact you'll be deep frying the thing, the order of cooking ingredients is pretty academic. Sure, some recipes need perfection (like making cakes or souffles), but something like this, which is essentially deep fried fajita mix in a pancake, will be down to personal taste and there is a pretty large margin for error.
