Nice pics of a Z06 transformation into a convertible by a company called Caravaggio. Best to have it delivered finished I think. Don't be tempted to visit the workshop while your car is being "converted"!

This guy has some serious Corvettes in his collection. By the way, don't any of you ZR1 guys even think about buying that Ruby Anniversary ZR1 that he has for sale. I like my exclusivity in the U.K. O.K. it's 'only' a convertible Ruby I own, but how many of hem do you see? Seriously though, $50,000 for an original, 2,200 mile Ruby ZR1. You've got to be tempted.

How about an original very low mileage (under 600 miles)ZR1.

sorry if I'm missing something but... wouldn't it be easier to put Z06 components on a convertible Vette than chop the top off a Z06?

The feeling i get is there are so many 90's around that the later cars fetch the better money,,when the ZR1 1st came out a lot of investors purchased the 90's and stored them but seeing how the economy is in the states, and the amount of 90's available over the other years of ZR1's a few of the 90's are being 'let go' in favour of other investments.

IMHO still a worthy investment for a new buyer @$38K the present owner has already lost a big chunk from its original price of $60+K and i really cant see it depreciate any more, it wont be long before it will start to appreciate.

To some people a car is not what it is meant to be because the numbers dont match ,there are others who couldnt care less like you and me who would simply switch components.

Completely different car!

Z06 has different wheels, brakes, gearbox, engine, wiring loom etc. etc. yawn!

So, NO!!!!

Caravaggio also do a Targa roof Z06. I nearly bought a Caravaggion convertible 2001 yellow Z06 about a year ago, but the guy wanted too much money for it.
