MW2: Destroy enemy equipment

What does this mean, i've knifed sentry guns and i'm still at 0/2 and it's the only challenge left on that rank to clear and it's bugging me!

I did this challenge by shooting down choppers and UAV's.

What do you need to shoot a UAV down with? i only have the first anti vehicle launcher.

Get sitrep and you can see claymores through walls and do bullet penetration kills on them, which'll unlock a challenge if an enemy is unlucky enough to be caught be the blast.

I just used a rifle, the first launcher isn't accurate enough. Takes a few clips though.

Much easier with the stinger - I completed cold blooded pro with this in fairly short order

This - the Stinger is great for dealing with other people's shiny helicopters... I had some success with the AT-4 as well, but you get 2 rockets with the Stinger, which really helps.

I have it on every class, the moment anything gets called in, use the stinger. You can almost here the guy who called it in going "ah st"

Alot of people are confusing 'Equipment' with 'Kill Streak Rewards'

'Equipment' is:

Claymores
C4
Tactical Insertions
Semtex


'Kill Streak Rewards' are:

Sentry Guns
Helo's
AC130
Harriers
Etc Etc

To the OP, I assume you are trying to level up the Sit-rep perk by destroying enemy 'Equipment'
When you use the perk enemy 'Equipment' glows red and shows up through walls/vegetation if you then shoot that 'Equipment' it will give you challenge you are chasing.

It takes fecking ages though, you need 120 to get Sit-Rep Pro, I am on 96/120 currently. Best thing to do is play games like HQ and Domination were people use Claymores/C4/Tactical insertion more often and then put 'FMJ' on your weapons so you can shoot straight through the walls at the Equipment you spot.

The upside it that you will never get killed by Claymores or C4 and you will get other Challenges like the ones for blowing people up by shooting there own C4/Claymores.
