Tamora door catch help please

hi i have had problems with my door catch not closing window when shut . so finally decided to take it apart today , turns out that the metal part shown on pic had come out and was just floating around,

Can anyone tell me how it is fastened in surely it dosent just slot in , or should it be fastened to the micro switch with something ?

Had a problem with the arm on my Tam, manged to get a new one , to fit it it just clips on to the two little bumps one each side of the switch, the worst job is putting the switch back into the door without knocking it back off, I found putting a screw driver through one of the holes to hold the lot in place then locate one screw into the assembly worked for me.

sussed it out now. i was trying to put it together backwards.
door dosen't spring open like it should , but i dont really care as it only the passenger side .

If the door seals are old & flat then the doors don't 'pop' open. Easy job to replace you need 6m of ETS58 seal(about £30 inc P&P) from seals direct + another 2m for the hoop seal.
