A little note that I am sure no one needs but just incase,
Scammers now advertise TVR's also. I thought this sort of thing only came in the form of I am a churchy type in Africa could you look after some money for me, what are your bank details etc.. but it seems anything that is too good to be true always is.
Recent Tuscan advertised on Autotrader for ridiculously cheap price (5k).
I had already planned how I was going to spend all my spare cash sorting the inevitable problems before I looked into the secure transaction company and found it doesn't exist.
I am pretty sensible and still got sucked in far enough to dream a little (and for that I thank the little scamming Ba***rd) but thankfully not any further.

I suspect the real mark oterval does have a nice tuscan and the V5 has been copied and so if its you I am sorry to have used your name but needs must.

Unfortunately there have been quite a number of these "fantastic offers" recently and getting more common.
Glad you posted on here. I am sure you could see and feel the level of concern. People were shouting at you not to touch that Tuscan.
Good hunting, there are plenty of excellent Griffs, Tuscan, Chimaera and Cerbera examples without getting burnt.
By the way, I bought unseen by me. saw my Tuscan on the internet at a dodgy dealer near my home.
My Wife checked it out and bought it for me. Engine lasted 34 miles before I needed a rebuild.

Unfortunately, had the rebuild, a few electric repairs, a few upgrades like throttle bodies and new SP12 alloys and shocks and....... then wrote her off this year on a nice slippery slippery surface.Sorry to hear that, I hope you now have a wicked car and love it after a rebuild.

Now got a fantastic Mk2 Tuscan covertible. Wonderful car.
And yes, she is a keeper. After I crashed my Tuscan my Wife said, "use all of the insurance money and get as new as possible, only please make it a Tuscan again." (what could I say but, "Oh OK, if I have to").
She found the Mk2 for me down in London and badgered me to call the guy late Saturday night.
This is now my new Tuscan thanks to my wife. (TVR No. 4)
And I absolutely love it.
