Never had mine RROD yet, my brother did, he bought a new xbox then returned the old one with the rrod in the box and got a refund lol.

Just in case you are wondering, current turnaround time for these at the moment seem to be 1 week. A couple of friends have had theirs done recently.

you have to pay for online gaming?! How much is it £1 a day or something by hell am I glad I bought a PS3 as online gaming is a right not a privilege [?]

wouldn't be so sure. Sony may be thinking about a premium PSN sub although the current PSN level will still be free.

Oh ok, it's £40 for a year, I'd be happy paying that provided the games were always available and it also could be paused if your console breaks.

In fact, if Sony did a yearly subscription to PSN and along with that you get a 1 year warranty i'd pay £40-£50 a year just for the peace of mind.

The thing that pisses me off about Live (and I'm a 360 owner) is that we're paying MS to play games online that either you or your mates are hosting!

Worth having a search around online as there are plenty up for grabs for £26.

Bought a few from here for family and friends and have never had a problem, very quick on email response when questions are asked too
