rear drain tube question

There's probably a really simple answer to this, but I'm a bit lost at the minute! There is a drain tube in the boot on the nearside that isn't connected to anything, can anyone tell me where it's supposed to go? The overflow pipe for the fuel tank is connected and the boot lid drain is connected, what is the third for?

Not connected on mine either.

The fuel filler cap well also has a drain, and on mine there is a drain on the electric aerial but thats on the offside.

Normally three drains near side water from gutter, petrol over flow and one from the filler cap
