Anyone bought it/played it/know anything about it? I had the pleasure of the demo of the original game years ago and am tempted by this on xbox. I know these sort of games are difficult to port to a console. Am i better off waiting for it to hit the bargain bin?

Yes. Fun but gets boring very quick. Once you have developed one island all the way and built every kind of building/industry once theres nothing new. All scenarios are just develop this island and export x amount of something or make ppl xx% happy or similar. Good game but i got bored after doing 4 missions. Glad I didn't have to pay for it or I would have felt I paid far too much for it.

Just thought I'd add, I did buy it, traded in a load of old games that were gathering dust so didn't have to outlay too much and I'm really enjoying it. Totally different style of gameplay to most console offerings and quite refreshing. Viva El Presidente!
