Quick Xbox Question...

My 360 is about to give up the ghost (Forza, keeps freezing, wont play other games, keeps thinking it has a dvd in the tray rather than a game), so im looking to get a new replacement, thing is, how do i go about getting my saved games and music from one xbox to another?
Might be a simple answer but i dont know much about these things.

2 weeks? Mine arrived 3 days after I sent the form away. Pretty good service for a free item! When Microsoft updated the AC adaptor on the old XBox (a couple of early ones caught fire IIRC) they sent me a new US adaptor with circuit breaker switch, AND a UK one after they realised their mistake - didn't even want the US one back!

Anyone would think they've got a bit of money floating about..........;)

I actually did mine last week, took an HOUR AND A HALF!!! To transfer 19.3GB from my old HD, onto my elite. Couldn't believe how bloody slow it was, worth it though!

If your old HDD is 20gb and the new one is 120bg you will want to use the new one with the old stuff on it for extra space to burn games to etc

I would send off for your own cable - I got mine a month ago, I was going to borrow one from Gamestation but then they said that because of the most recent Live update it wouldn't work so I should get one direct from Microsoft with a new transfer disc. It worked fine.
