I just wondered as i'm spotting a trend on Forza3 and COD6

Rubbish. 2 of my friends have won serious money playing computer games and they both have girlfriends and I've been up to quite a competitive level with a couple of games a few times when I was younger and I'm rarely with out a girlfriend or at least a bit of harmless fun.

The stereotypes surrounding computer games really need to be booted now IMO

I'm pretty good in TF2 and getting married next year.

I think the comment is fair though, unless your o/h is a gamer it's not good for the relationship.

I'm lucky my o/h works away and also likes to play when I'm around so it's a bit different for me than some others.

Oh I wasn't getting aggressive haha. Just bit of an old stereotype now really. The whole living with parents in a basement playing D&D board games.

My friend gets alot of st as he won £5,000ish as a "pro gamer". I don't think there is any more a link between being good at games and good with girls than there is with anything else.

Been with my gf for 4 years, there do seem to be alot of single blokes on xbox though. I found my gf before I found cod. Had it been the other way round i'd still be single.

married for many years, enjoy my 360 and the games but not often join in on groups as I always have th ewife and kids wanting the TV or me. so usually on and off games if and when I get time to play

He played Warcraft (fair play, he picked the wrong game to get good at!). He was flown out to America and put up in a 5 star hotel for a week, all expenses paid. Then walked away with a nice fat cheque for £5k which he spent on a holiday for him and his girlfriend to California so she wasn't complaining

I must admit the COD6 build up thread did get a little worrying.

Some people genuinely seemed to belive the world was going to end unless they got a copy.

my copy of COD6 sat unopened on my kitchen side for about 5 days before i opened it

i do play alot less since having a gf. and now i've just bought an engagement ring i feel this will only decrease. i have set down rules when we have our house that i need my xbox time though lol!
