600bhp SRX-7!?
The 350bhp Laminar SRX-7 is to appear at the New York Auto show shortly. The Seven like car uses a turbocharged Mazda rotary engine although the company offers two further power plants quoting up to 600bhp!? See their website for more details.

Sounds like the performance will be adequate. Would be good to see some of these power to weight figures in something a little more contempory, like the elise, rather than the same old format. Why is it most kitcar companies have trouble looking past the old caterham 7 and cobras for styling cues?
damn.... I think it's potential desire to blow itself up (600 hp reliably from a rotary on the road? hmmm, not terribly likely) is more pertinent than a sub 2000 lb car having 600 hp... yikes, that's 3.33 lbs per hp....
