A170 running like a tractor
Discussion
Hi all,
2002 A170 Cdi, been running very rough for last few months sounds like a tractor very noisy on idle... would this be an injector problem or diesel pump??
Also anyone know the costs incurred in injector replacement, how much are they from Merc and whats the labour like? is it an easy job to replace?
Thanks!

If the misfire gos when you increase revs it will be a faulty injector, not the cheapest or easiest jobs on the a class and they invariably sieze in. Injectors cost about £150 genuine merc2002 A170 Cdi, been running very rough for last few months sounds like a tractor very noisy on idle... would this be an injector problem or diesel pump??
