Hi mods, I'm wondering if my deleted thread was glanced over quickly as I wasn't advertising my car despite the email suggesting I was, I was just asking anyone in the trade for a trade-in value and gave details of the spec of my car - I did put a comment asking if anyone wanted to buy it but it was tongue in cheek and followed by a smiley.
It doesn't seem much different to those who post asking for someone to check glass's guide? Can I repost the same question but reword it to ask if anyone can do a quick glass's guide check for me (serious question) as us ordinary punters don't have access to trade/auction prices therefore are trying to avoid being ripped off by asking those in the know what they're selling/buying/trading for.

We get a lot of people posting veiled ads which are very similar to your post and these always get deleted, especially when they include phrases like "...any trade like to (buy it) ..." and are posted in the area where they will get maximum exposure.
If you posted "Anyone have a copy of glasses guide and mind looking up the value of my car?" and then sent the details via PM, that would be a different matter.

That car's done the rounds hasn't it, I'm sure I've seen it in the hands of another mod who's a member/mod on an MB forum if I'm correct?And yes, I'd swap it and happily drive the old battlecruiser if you leave a suitcase of cash in the boot of it.
