Headlights for an S3

Hiya

Could anyone help me confirm these are the right parts to replace my S3 headlights with?

Are they easy enough to fit and is any alignment needed?

I've been told the inner reflectors are corroded and have lost their silver 'shine' so would fail an MOT and so i'm looking to replace them. Only trouble is you need to buy a whole new unit as I can't find a replacement part for the reflectors only?

Any ideas?

Lucas H4's, they'll do nicely IMHO, just fitted a pair to my S3 (£28 new on Ebay complete with bulbs)

Shouldn't upset alignment aslong as you don't twiddle the wrong screws !

ETA glass is bonded to the reflector, you replace the whole thing.

You cold try these www.hidcity.co.uk looked at them at Classic Car Shop and was tempted, more light, less load seems too good to be true - and a simple fitting job

There are also a lot of options for the classice mini. Which fit the S Series. I fitted "Crystal halogens" to mine. These had the beam pattern on the reflector and a clear plastic lens.
